  • Role of women and women’s organization.
  • Population and associated issues, poverty and developmental issues.
  • Urbanization, their problems and their remedies.
  • Effects of globalization on Indian society.
  • Social empowerment, communalism, regionalism & secularism.

Analysis:

  • Mains 2013: 4 questions, 10 marks each.
  • Mains 2014: 5 questions, 10 marks each.
  • Mains 2015: 6 questions, 12.5 marks each.
